Levante, Spain -  The Oklahoma College Showcase Powered by NIKE will have an international flair to it this year. Levante, of La Liga, will send scouts from their youth academy coaching staff to identify players during the 3 day event.  

The announcement brings into focus part of the vision of the Oklahoma NIKE College Showcase to expose players to scouts for both college and professional playing opportunities.  The goal of the Oklahoma NIKE College Showcase is to expand the connections for players and scouts.  

  

Levante will send a contingency of their youth academy coaching staff which will be observing players for their youth academy.  The objective is to identify players who are ready for a trial with the Levante Youth Academy which provides players an opportunity to be immersed in an international soccer training environment in La Liga, considered one of the best soccer leagues in the world! 

Levante spokesperson, Daniel Pastor Tort, the club's International Training Director, reported, "We will be delighted to attend the Oklahoma Nike College Showcase that will be held on July 23-25, 2021 contributing the best of ourselves, and selecting talented players who may have an opportunity, an experience, with a professional football club, of the best world league, like ours."

PLAYER IDENTIFICATION - LEVANTE ACADEMY SCHOLARSHIPS UP FOR GRABS
5 Male & 5 Female Players Selected for Week Long Levante UD Trial!

  

Levante UD will also select 5 male and 5 female players who participate during the Oklahoma Nike College Showcase.  These 10 players will be invited to attend Levante's Youth Academy on a week-long experience for up to 100% scholarship!  The scholarship will cover lodging in the Levante International residence, food, airport transfer service, all necessary trips to comply with the sports training program, and the offical Levante UD apparel package, during the players entire stay in the program.  Levante club will decide on each individual player's opportunities based on their performance in Spain! 

Claudio Munoz, WSA Vertical Transition Liasion, was instrumental in orchestraing the partnership with Levante UD. Claudio stated, "I am proud that after a long journey of negotiations with Jeremy combs and Victoriano Rivas we have reached a great agreement with Levante U.D. and CASVI academy.  This will bring great opportunities for our young players.  In this showcase, there will be 10 players chosen by Levante UD and we will have 40 scholarships from CASVI academy, in the U16, U17, and U19 categories, which is amazing."

Munoz went on to speak of the partnership as the beginning of more opportunities in the future, "In our future tournaments, WSA CUP and Showcases, for sure we will have more surprises and opportunities for our categories from U7 to U19."
